Screen resolution refers to the number of pixels and density, while screen size refers to the screen's physical dimensions. The latter is usually measured diagonally in inches, from one corner of the screen to the other.
The greater the difference in numbers between the maximum resolution of your computer screen and the resolution you choose in our product, the more blurred the recorded video will appear. Therefore, it is recommended to select the highest resolution available for recording.
- If the display/screen resolution of your computer monitor is 4k (2160x3840) and you select a lower resolution ratio such as 720p (720x1280) to record, the recorded video will be noticeably blurry. This is because choosing a 720p resolution for a 4K display results in a significant difference in resolution, leading to a more noticeable blurriness.
- If the display resolution of your computer is 4k and you select a lower resolution ratio such as 1080p(1080x1920) to record, the recorded video will appear slightly blurry.
- If the display resolution of your computer is 2240*1400 or 1920*1080 and you select a lower resolution such as 1080p or 720p to record, the blurry degree of the recorded video is not obvious.
