A. If you use Windows, please follow the steps below:

Go to
Start > Settings > Privacy & security > Camera
or
Start > Settings > Privacy & security > Microphone

1) If you are using one of the Awesome Screenshot browser extensions,
ensure that "Let desktop apps access your camera/microphone" is turned on, so that the browser you are using can access your camera and/or microphone.
2) If you are using the AwesomeScreenshot Desktop App for Windows,
ensure that both 'Let apps access your camera/microphone' is turned on and 'Awesome Screenshot & Recorder' is enabled in the dropdown menu.
If you do not know how to distinguish the Awesome Screenshot Windows Desktop App and Awesome Screenshot Browser Extension, please turn on both "Let desktop apps access your camera/microphone" and "Let apps access your camera/microphone".
B. If you use macOS

Go to
Lauchpad > System Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera
or
Lauchpad > System Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone

1) If you are using one of the Awesome Screenshot browser extensions, ensure that the browser you are using is enabled in the Camera/Microphone list.
2) If you are using the AwesomeScreenshot Desktop App for Mac, ensure that our app is enabled in the Camera/Microphone list.
If you do not know how to distinguish the AwesomeScreenshot Desktop App for Mac and Awesome Screenshot Browser Extension, please turn on both the browser you are using and our app in the list.
