If this shortcut is already set as Global in another browser profile or used by a desktop app, those settings will take priority, making the shortcut appear non-functional in your current profile.

If the shortcut is set to be effective only in that browser, such as "In Chrome", the same shortcut can work in different browser profiles, including the current one.
Solution 1:
If the conflict comes from another browser profile, you can change the shortcut setting of "Global" to "In Browser Name", such as "In Chrome" or "In Edge" in your previous profile.
Solution 2:
If the conflict comes from another browser profile or desktop app, change the shortcut combination in another browser profile, the desktop app, or your current profile.
2. Shortcuts don't sync automatically
If shortcuts don't automatically sync across different computers, even when using the same browser profile, you'll need to manually set them on each new device or profile.
For example, if you set shortcuts on a Windows computer and then use our extension on the same browser profile on a Mac, you may find that the shortcuts you previously set are different on the new computer.
