The Full Page and Selected Area options may appear dimmed, indicating that they are not available. A notice stating "Due to browser restrictions, this feature is not available on this page. Please use Visible Part or Entire Screen & App Window instead." will be displayed.
Reason:
You can capture any webpage except for those where the browser restricts extensions from running scripts, such as the extension web store, browser settings pages, and other extensions. Chrome's policy prohibits extensions from accessing URLs that begin with “chrome://” to maintain security.
Solution 1:
Use Visible Part or Entire Screen & App Window options to capture content, then crop the screenshot as needed.
Solution 2:
If you are unable to capture a selected area using browser extensions, use the AwesomeScreenshot Windows Desktop App or AwesomeScreenshot Mac Desktop App instead.
Note:
If the Full Page option appears not dull and it is available, but the page cannot be captured or correctly captured, please provide us with the URL (website address) of the page via Feedback of our browser extension (recommended) or through our website.
