1. If you have saved the recording/video to Cloud/AwesomeScreenshot.com by default,
you can usually access it in My Items after logging in, provided you have not moved it.
If you cannot find it in your account, please copy and paste the following link to your Chrome browser on the device/computer where you recorded this video.

There, you have the options to download recordings to your computer then upload the recordings to our Cloud again.
2. If you choose to save your recording/recorded video to Local (your computer), the recording is temporarily saved in My Local Recordings (a temporary folder in your browser) and it is not saved on our server, so it is prone to be lost due to the browser update, cleanup, unexpected system error, or unexpected browser error. Therefore, we cannot retrieve videos recorded under the Local mode. Please ensure that you download the recording to your local computer promptly.
To temporarily access your local recordings, please click My Local Recordings by hovering your cursor on the icon highlighted below.
- If you want to generate a shareable link or edit a recorded video that was selected to be saved to Local (your computer), you can upload it to Cloud/AwesomeScreenshot.com after it is recorded. Simply click on Upload next to the video. Alternatively, you can select the video by clicking on its thumbnail in My Local Recordings, and then click on Upload next to the video.
- You can also delete the recording in My Local Recordings (a temporary folder in your browser) by clicking the Trash icon, which will appear when hovering your mouse cursor in the top right corner.
