A. How to update Chrome to the latest version?
Windows & Mac:
Click on the three dots located on the top right corner of Chrome, select Help, and choose About Google Chrome. If you notice that you are not using the latest version, please click the update button.
Linux:
Updates come through your package manager:
Ubuntu/Debian: sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade google-chrome-stable
Fedora: sudo dnf update google-chrome-stable
Arch (AUR): yay -Syu google-chrome
B. How to update Edge to the latest version?
Windows & Mac:
Click on the three dots located on the top right corner of Edge, select "Help and feedback", and choose "About Microphone Edge". You can see if your Edge is the latest version and update it to the latest version there.
Linux:
Updates come through your package manager:
Ubuntu/Debian: sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade microsoft-edge-stable
Fedora: sudo dnf update microsoft-edge-stable
Or download the latest version from microsoft.com/edge
Edge is built on Chromium and updates automatically and frequently. It typically downloads updates in the background and applies them when you restart the browser.
C. How to update Firefox to the latest version?
Windows & Mac:
1. Open Firefox.
2. Click the menu button (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner.
3. Select Help → About Firefox.
4. Firefox will automatically check for updates and download them.
5. Click Restart to update Firefox when prompted.
Linux:
Updates typically come through your system's package manager:
Ubuntu/Debian: sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade firefox
Fedora: sudo dnf update firefox
Arch: sudo pacman -Syu firefox
Quick Check if Auto-Update is Enabled:
Go to Menu → Settings.
Scroll to the Firefox Updates section.

Important Notes:
Safari version is tied to your OS version - you cannot update Safari independently on newer systems.
If you're on an older macOS version, you may need to upgrade your entire operating system to get the latest Safari.
Safari is not available for Windows (support ended in 2012).
