Available disk storage space is below 5GB, potentially leading to recording failures. Please choose a disk with adequate space to save temporary files to avoid this issue."
1. When you see the notice, follow the provided guide to select another local disk on your computer for saving the temporary recording file.
2. Alternatively, you can adjust the settings within the app:
- Click the "..." icon from the right corner of the app interface.
- Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.
- Navigate to "Save the recording to" and choose a different disk with sufficient space.
Reason for this requirement:
When you use Awesomescreenshot Desktop App for Windows, if you choose to save your recording to AwesomeScreenshot.com Cloud, a temporary recording file will be automatically generated and saved to a default folder. The temporarily file will be automatically removed after the recording is completely uploaded to our Cloud.
This measure is to avoid data loss. In the past, if a user's internet connection was unstable or very slow, some parts of the whole recording or the entire recording might not be uploaded to our Cloud.
If you choose to save the recording to your local computer, the recording file is saved in the default folder or the folder you select forever unless you delete it.
